Role Summary/Purpose

Provide leadership, planning and technical support for the introduction of logistic processes for new product development and existing logistics process. Implement efforts to improve product and process delivery and availability. AME (Advanced Manufacturing Engineering) is recognized as a key logistics technology leader within their technology domain. Interface with global counter-parts to achieve program goals and integrate global activities when necessary.
Essential Responsibilities

• Drive improved product quality by identifying logistic issues, developing advanced logistics cost-effective solutions, and overseeing successful implementation into production
• Work with manufacturing leadership to identify and resolve logistics, supply chain, manufacturing and quality problems related to methods, processes, and parts delivery 
• Monitor and improve productivity through the use of Lean Six Sigma or related tools, while ensuring all customer commitments are timely and cost-conscious and met with quality
• Ensure early focus on parts delivery and availability in NPI and/or Advanced Technology programs. Drive rigor in process capability assessment, process layout and plan for every part QMS Design Transfer execution 
• Drive the development of logistics process technology roadmap for Growth Playbook including influence of GRC activities as necessary
• Support Supply Chain initiatives with wide business impact and ensure to share best practices across the Global Supply Chain
• Drive initiatives across sites while providing business-wide impact and enabling sharing of best practices across the Global Supply Chain
• Ensure regulatory compliance through Qualification & Validation. Responsible for ensuring rigor in determining processes requiring validation, development of plans and analysis criteria, execution and final analysis and acceptance
• Drive continuous simplification of QMS methods and their applications by working with cross-functional team including Operations and Quality Assurance. Work with the facilities and maintenance team to implement change and ensure the required product capacity is in place before it is required by customer demand 

Quality Specific Goals:
• Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
• Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required

• Knowledge and understanding of document control, design transfer, verification, validation, acceptance activity, DMR, DHR and electronic signature requirements to ensure that product, equipment, tools, processes, software, training and documentation meet requirements

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or Engineering 
• Minimum 5 years of experience working in logistics, engineering, or supply chain management; OR minimum 3 years of experience working in logistics, engineering, or supply chain management and completion of Operations Management Leadership Program (OMLP) 
• Experience in logistics or supply chain modelling & simulation. 
• Proven business/financial acumen, including demonstrated ability to motivate, influence, solve complex problems, and drive change at all levels of the organization 
• Proven ability to meet deadline in a fast paced changing environment. Demonstrated troubleshooting, analytical and planning skills Ability to work independently Demonstrated strong communication skills (written and verbal) to all levels of the organization Ability to identify and implement Best Practices

Desired Characteristics

• MS in technical concentration/field
• 5+ years industrial experience in Manufacturing Engineering
• 6-sigma DMAIC & DFSS certified
• Experiences in Process Intensive manufacturing
• Product and Process Development experience 
  Solid working knowledge of GEHC QMS procedures for GMP 
• Experienced developing tools and templates
• Demonstrated program or project management skills
• Demonstrated experience owning production processes / growing capability in yield and quality
• Experience working with global teams
