Role Summary/Purpose
The Reliability Engineer will work with a cross-functional program team to deliver X-ray imaging products for the global market.
Essential Responsibilities
1. Working with program team to define product reliability requirement, and flow down to subsystem and components.
2. Involving in program planning in terms of reliability, develop reliability plan for NPI and drive plan execution.
3. Providing reliability expertise to support design owners, drive design for reliability, FMEA, contribute to better technical trade off.
4. Developing reliability test environment, coordinate reliability test activities, track defect and support issue resolve.
Qualifications/Requirements
Quality Specific Goals:
1. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
2. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
3. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
4. Support compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before completing Design Outputs/Program Deliverables
5. Participate in continuous improvement activities by identifying and appropriately escalating process and product quality gaps, providing solutions when possible
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor degree in System Engineering (RAMS), or Reliability related discipline
2. 3 years relevant working experience
3. Good engineering experience in product development
4. Excellent teamwork, coordination and communication skills
Desired Characteristics
1. Master in in System Engineering (RAMS), or Reliability related discipline
2. Effective oral and written English communication skills, global project experience will be plus
3. Self-starter, energizing, results oriented, and able to multi-task
4. Demonstrated technical leadership capability in integration activities
