Role Summary/Purpose
The Inventory Analyst is responsible for warehouse and on hand inventories control, reporting and monitoring. Forecast inventory levels and targets part stock list, required to perform Service Delivery obligations. He/she ensures that internal customers’ needs are met and that company policy and compliance regulations are adhered to.
Essential Responsibilities
• Forecast inventory level and targets part stock lists.
• Drive material data analysis and its impact to P&L
• Reconcile inventory, correct and report discrepancies
• Responsible for timely, accurate and complete record keeping – inbounding and outbounding transactions
• Leading specific inventory projects
• Support standardization of the inventory processes across the region
• Maintain local inventory level in accordance to global objectives
• Lead and executes annual Physical Inventories and support warehousing optimization
• Scrap and reject spare parts and accessories
• Primary contact for global affiliates and internal customers about the logistics inventory process and escalations
• Escalate material shortages/overages through cycle counting and physical inventory
• Implementation of tools and dashboards for metric visibility and communication
• Supporting Variable Cost Productivity initiatives
• Developing, measuring and reporting performance metrics to drive improvements.
• Leading change initiatives that will enable logistics to reach a world-class level of operations
• Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree
• 2 years of experience working in logistics, engineering or supply chain management; or a High School diploma/GED and 5 years of work experience in logistics, engineering, or supply chain management
• Experience in logistics or supply chain modeling & simulation.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced changing environment.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, global team environment
• Customs clearance processes knowledge’s (Customs Union, worldwide): documents, specifics, time, key points to control, laws, tariff and nontariff rules.
• Demonstrated logistics leadership of multiple facilities in a similar industry
• Excellent project management, communication and analytical skills
