Role Summary/Purpose

The Candidate will be part of the Legal Compliance team with a specific focus on supporting the Legal Compliance Team on administrative tasks as well as managing various compliance related projects.

Additionally, the Candidate will assist with team operating rhythms and office management.

Essential Responsibilities

The Legal Compliance Paralegal will:

·  Up to 19 hours / week {Student may choose own hours that fall within (M-F, 8-5) and meet business needs}

·  Apply MS Office skills (primarily MS Excel & PPT) to execute special projects for a team of Attorneys and Compliance Managers

·  Communicate effectively with leaders across Compliance and business teams to:
·  Plan Events
·  Maintain ITP (Independent Third Party) files
·  and Support onboarding and due diligence team as needed

·  Assist with Integrity & Compliance investigations as needed

·  Other specific ongoing tasks include,
·  Communications projects
·  Meeting coordination
·  Placing monthly purchase orders
·  Assisting Attorneys with travel policy compliance
·  Creating and maintaining distribution lists, etc.

·  Administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications/Requirements

·  Current undergraduate student with Major in Pre-Law, Business, or a related field from an accredited university or college

·  Must have and maintain 3.0 GPA or greater

·  Prior experience working in a professional office environment strongly preferred

·  Strong computer skills (including MS Office)

·  Excellent communication skills

·  Highly organized & self-motivated

·  Ability to manage multiple files & projects and to take direction from multiple leaders

·  Ability to prioritize tasks and follow up to ensure completion
