Role Summary/Purpose

The Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator reports to the Plant EHS Leader and provides assistance and coordination on EHS program/activities
Essential Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
•Advise and ensure the site operation teams perform their tasks safely in compliance with Singapore Regulatory and GE requirements.
•Conduct documented periodic EHS Inspections.
•Coordinate/implement the GE EHS programs/framework.
•Advise GE management and operations of unsafe acts/conditions observed for prompt corrective action.
•Coordinate and conduct EHS trainings and awareness sessions to all personnel.
•Prepare/conduct periodic toolbox briefings on EHS topics.
•Monitor and control EHS-related permits and licenses to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
•Assist operations in accident/incident investigation, and root cause identification and prevention.
•Liaise/supervise with Contractors/Subcontractors, insurance representatives, local fire department, local regulatory agencies, and Customer/Client on EHS related matters.
•Maintain and log/report EHS related records in the Gensuite system.
Qualifications/Requirements

•Workplace Safety and Health (Level B) or related professional EHS qualification
•At least 3 years’ experience in EHS
•Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, namely Excel, Word, and Powerpoint.
•Strong oral and written communication skills
•Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
•Able to work under minimal supervision
