Essential Responsibilities

·  Conduct visits, meetings and technical presentations with
customers, suppliers and competence centers.
·  Analyze technical documentation, technical
specifications, drawings and projects received from customers.
·  Inspect equipment, analyze
information and technical descriptions of reported equipment failures and problems, including
photos, technical reports, and protection system records.
·  Define the solution to be adopted,
identifying application materials, spare parts, machines, equipment and test instruments, human
resources and their competencies to perform maintenance and repairs in the field or
workshop.
·  Define and propose the schedule of services execution or analyze and validate
schedules proposed by third parties.
·  Provide technical support in the preparation of
proposals and elaborate technical proposals.
·  Develop shutdown plans and validate them
together with customers.
·  Create quotation specifications and purchase specifications
(EDCs).
·  Plan the technical activities related to the project development, creating detailed
work instructions.
·  Prepare the supply details with the operations area.
·  Issue project
document lists, or analyze and validate lists issued by third parties.
·  Discuss with the client
the technical aspects of the project to obtain the approval of engineering
documents.
·  Identify claim opportunities, negotiate commercial and technical
conditions.
·  Prepare, review, comment and approve the basic and executive projects of the
system, internal or issued by third parties.
·  Use application programs, configure
communication drivers and parametrize monitoring systems.
·  Participate in tests on a test
platform, in the factory or in the field.
·  Prepare and teach system operation, installation and
maintenance training.
·  Provide remote after-sales support of products and systems installed
on customers.
·  Take technical responsibility for projects and services when demanded by
the company.
·  Comply with established Policies, Standards and Procedures, maintaining
responsible behavior, aiming to achieve high performance in Quality, Environment, Safety and
Occupational Health. 
·  Participate in teams created to meet specific projects and
organizational initiatives.
·  Share technical information and promote open dialogues and
exchange of experiences.
·  Transmit knowledge and train new team
members.
·  Prepare patent descriptions to protect technology that brings competitive
advantages to the company.
·  Ensure the correct documentation and data records
generated for the projects consistent with the procedures and good engineering
practices.
·  Catalog, identify, organize and archive technical documentation of the company
that have access.

Qualifications/Requirements

·  Graduate in electrical or electronic
engineering. 
·  Over 8 years experience in engineering or in related activities, in the
area of services, after sales or technical assistance, inside or outside the
company.
·  Knowledge of conventional and armored high voltage switching equipment:
circuit breakers, disconnectors and related equipment of a power substation.
·  Knowledge of
power transformers.
·  Knowledge of air and gas insulated substation technology (AIS and
GIS).
·  Experience in services, technical assistance or after sales support.
·  Active and
regular registration at Brazilian class regulatory council - CREA.
·  Languages: Fluent
Portuguese, Fluent English, Intermediate Spanish.
·  NR-10.
·  Training
Availability for national and international travel.
