Role Summary/Purpose
Under the direction of the Facilities Manager, this position will be responsible for the daily execution of scheduled and non-scheduled repairs. Will assists in performing routine corrective and preventative maintenance work on the multi-building facility and its operating systems
Essential Responsibilities
• Layout, construct, modify, install and repair wood trim, floors, ceilings, stairs, casings, factory and office partitions, buildouts, specialized office and factory furniture, etc.
• Operate and maintain woodworking machinery and hand tools. Be able to properly prepare various materials for brush or spray painting both exterior and interior walls.
• Proficient in laying brick, tuck pointing, pavers, stone, tile, marble for new installs and repair.
• General concrete and cement work, plaster and drywall repair and minor roof repairs.
• Maintain and repair all types of grounds equipment and machinery, which may include welding and fabricating. Drive a forklift and boom lift.
• Working knowledge of key making, lock repair/replacement, door stops and door closers.
• Window glazing, window sash repair & replacement, replace/cut glass.
• Be able to work from drawings or samples with minimum supervision.
• Performs other incidental duties as required.
Qualifications/Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED
• Five years of related experience.
• Moderate problem-solving required.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime as required
• Ability and willingness to lift 50 pounds repeatedly and frequently, lift, climb and work in elevated spaces and extreme temperatures
• Ability and willingness to work outdoor
