Role Summary/Purpose

As an experienced-level statutory accountant, the candidate will be expected to analyze and reconcile statutory books and financial statements by interacting with multifunctional team within Global Ops and Business.
Essential Responsibilities

·  Analyze & integrate financial information and obtain the correct support or back up
·  Keep in touch with external audit , including in some cases preparation of Stat F/S
·  Lead cross-functional interaction with other areas of the Finance organization impacted by STAT activities such as Accounts Payable, Collections, Accounts Receivable, Taxes, Customs, etc.
·  Monitor and analyze STAT goals, provide actions to mitigate risk
·  Work with Stat fillings and support to CIT filling process
·  Proactively communicating and delivering as well as partnering with GE businesses and financial reporting leaders
·  Support TAX teams by providing appropriate back up information
·  Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university or college
·  Proficient in Microsoft Office (strong Excel; Power Point skills)
·  Proactivity and team work capability
·  Organized and with critical sense of priorities
·  Proficient in English
·  Statutory technical expertise
·  Big 4 experience desired
