Le poste

This is 100% not the typical job, the typical team or the typical day!

· Our managers are coders too! It can't be otherwise: we build tech services, by tech people, for tech customers.
· You will be the first users of Scaleway APIs, so you'll work closely of every product teams in the company.
· You are not going to write any backend code, they're dedicated teams for that!
· We are not looking for old-school front-end developers. We're not going to develop products page-per-page, but create a design system and components to be part of the "company software factory" spirit.
· You understand that the client-is-(king | queen) and your favorite thing is to ship neat and performant user interfaces.
· You'll receive a competitive salary based on your skills.

· Engineers specialised in their products (100% API based) and their respective Product Managers
· A motivated design team that works in symbiosis with developers

Profil recherché

Who you are

· You already choose between frontend and backend development
· You tend to solve your problem with code, not dependencies
· You don’t fall for the hype
· You truly "Think in React©"

You know the technologies that we tend to use every day:

· Open-source ecosystems
· JavaScript ES2018 (ES2015, at least)
· Single page applications with React
· HTML & CSS
· CSS-in-JS
· REST APIs
· Compilation to static rendered websites
· Git, GitLab, CI/CD

You will get bonus points for having experience with these:

· Overengineering and premature abstractions / optimisations
· Statically typed functional languages
· Languages with JS as compilation target (Reason / Elm / etc.)
· React Native
· Mentoring beginner developers
