Valuations, Modelling and Economics

Job description

To provide solutions to clients with regards to valuations, and reasonable opinion, as well as delegate work to junior staff, coach and train where necessary. To eventually develop a network of relationships and as a result securing a revenue stream.

Key Responsibilities

·  Work on valuation assignments for large corporate clients.
·  Manage time and delivery to clients.
·  Build relationships both with clients and within the firm.
·  Produce written reports.
·  Keep up to date with relevant technical information.

Qualifications

·  CA or other relevant professional/ tertiary qualification
·  At least 4 years Valuations experience
·  Experience in valuing intangible assets for IFRS 3 purposes impairment tests and valuations for transaction purposes preferred.

Skills & Behavioural Attributes

 

·  Have a proven technical ability to conduct valuations and do fair and reasonable opinions.
·  Exposure to JSE documentation will be an advantage.
·  Have excellent report writing skills.
·  Have the ability to build and develop relationships with clients and staff at all levels.
·  Good time management skills - well organized and disciplined.
·  Be creative and challenging.
·  Be a team player.
