Technology Solutions Advisor, Technology Consulting, (Risk Management - Application Implementation) - Financial Services Office (Senior) (Multiple Positions) , Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, New York, NY.

Provide full lifecycle technology services to enable the implementation of best practice risk management processes and systems. Help clients with defining business and technology requirements to select, design, implement and test risk management IT processes and systems. Help clients respond to emerging risk and regulatory developments through implementing agile methodologies. Help clients with defining business and technology requirements to select, design, implement and test risk management IT processes and systems. Provide end-to-end technology services to help clients measure and monitor financial risks, including credit risk and market risk. 

Consistently deliver quality client services focusing on more complex and/or specialized issues. Demonstrate capabilities in end-to-end testing of business processes, technology, and data infrastructures. Learn about EY and its service lines and actively assess and present ways to apply knowledge and services.

 
Full time employment, Monday – Friday,40– 45 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

 

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, Finance, Economics or a related field and 2 years of work experience defining business and technical requirements.  Alternatively, will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems,  Business, Finance, Economics or a related field and 1 years of work experience defining business and technical requirements 

Must have 1 year of experience in using technology to solve complex credit and market risk issues and regulatory mandates including at least 2 of the following:
- Credit origination and approval
- Portfolio management
- Rating systems
- Basel
- CCAR Banking and Trading Book
- FRTB
- IFRS 9
- CECL
- SCCL

Must have 1 years of experience working on the design and implementation of technology solutions/platforms in the financial services industry 

Must have 1 year of experience in Enterprise IT implementation experience leveraging Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies

Must have 1 year of experience in financial risk management. 

Must have 1 year of experience with banking book and trading book products.

Must have 1 year of experience working through multiple phases of the technology life cycle, like requirements definition, architecture design, configuration, implementation, and testing

Must have 1 years of hands-on experience with at least 2 of the following technical competencies:
- OOP Programming languages (C++, Java) 
- Cloud computing and design
- Scripting Technologies (Python)
- Financial planning packages (SAP, Hyperion, TM1)
- Risk / Regulatory Packages (SAS, Axiom, Moody’s, Murex, SunGard, Algo,)
- Databases (e.g. Oracle, Sybase, MySQL, Big data technologies like Hadoop)
- Robotics and Machine Learning / Analytic packages (H2O, Palantir)
- Reporting/Visualization Tools (Spotfire, Tableau, Qlik)
- Big Data (HDFS) 

Requires travel up to 80%, of which 20% may be international, to serve client needs.
