Job description



As part of the Test Automation group the Associate analyst will work in our testing organization and will be responsible for delivery of automated test scripts, frameworks and applications for functional and performance testing under the guidance of Senior analyst. The selected candidate will be involved in understanding requirements, writing scripts, and executing automated testing tools across the testing organization for a given customer portfolio.   

Your key responsibilities will include:   

Build and use automation frameworks and other automated tools and assets such as predictive models, machine learning model and data analytics-based capabilities. 

Design, run and report on automation or performance test scenarios, scripts and execution results. 

Estimating the effort and cost for automation and performance testing efforts. 

Working with offshore and senior QA managers to deliver projects on time. 

Create and develop tools and assets for use with performance, automation or other testing analytics needs. 

Support Senior QA Analyst/QA Manager in upward stakeholder management and day-to-day management of the testing activities. 

 

A nalytical/Decision Marking Responsibilities 

Position is fast paced and ever changing, requiring flexibility, self-initiative and regular management of changing priorities. 

Write application code based on best practices and have it reviewed by managers. 

Stay abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client's business process management needs 
 Complete Testing practice required training and pass applicable certification exams that demonstrate an industry standard capability at an entry level. 

Assist the team in building trusted relationships as strategic technology advisors with clients, and work internally across Ernst & Young advisory teams to help bring our clients the most comprehensive IT transformation services to effectively address their business challenges. 

Learn and demonstrate technical capabilities and professional knowledge.  

Demonstrate ability to assimilate new knowledge.  

Develop good business acumen.  

Remain current on new developments in advisory services capabilities and industry knowledge. 

Assist with the analysis of client IT organizations, operating models, testing processes, software applications and formulate technology based automation capabilities, recommendations and roadmaps to improve our client's testing  functions. 

To qualify for the role you must have      

A bachelor’s degree in computer science, technology, engineering related fields. 

Strong academic record. 

Proficient in the English language, including the ability to listen, understand, read and communicate effectively both in writing and verbally in a professional environment. 

Experience with analyzing and solving problems of a complex nature. 

Experience working with business, management and technology concepts.   

Should work as a team player and demonstrate technical skills or knowledge. 

Demonstrate project management, teaming, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills. 

Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines. 
 Integrity within a professional environment and demonstrate respect for peers.
