Join our Core Business Services (CBS) team and you will help support the important business enablement functions that keep our organization running strong. As a CBS professional, you will work across teams to provide the knowledge, resources and tools that help EY deliver exceptional quality service to our clients, win in the marketplace and support EY�s growth and profitability. Major teams within CBS include Finance, Information Technology, Human Resources, Enterprise Support Services, Brand Marketing and Communications, Business Development, Knowledge and Risk Management.

Join our Finance team and you will help enable EY client account teams and management to run the business effectively. You�ll help to improve engagement profitability, manage enterprise wide risk and support market development activities. You will support EY planning, reporting and forecasting and analysis, or help EY people manage day-to-day activities, such as managing engagements, process and auditing time and expense or invoice processing. You�ll also work with other parts of our organization, sharing your financial experience and insights to achieve specific goals. Job Summary:

As Senior Coordinator, you'll process and/or review recurring accounting transactions, in accordance with established policies and procedures. You'll also prepare and deliver reports in a specific functional accounting area, when requested.

 

In this role, you'll handle more complex assignments, and be a subject matter resource in a specific functional accounting area.

 

You'll generally work with minimal supervision.

 

Key Responsibilities:

· 
Process and/or review recurring accounting transactions, within established service level agreements

· 
Carry out reconciliation and balancing controls on processed transactions

· 
Contact field finance and other personnel on processing issues, as appropriate

· 
Identify processing and/or accounting issues, and recommend improvements

· 
Create and distribute reports

· 
Help with special projects, as requested

· 
May handle more complex transaction related assignments

· 
Gain an understanding of the firm's business, organization structure, and finance and accounting operations

· 
Act as a subject matter resource in a specific functional accounting area, and as a technical resource for others

· 
Understand the expectations of customers, and deliver service that meets or exceeds their needs, within policy guidelines and service level agreements

· 
Identify and resolve issues that could reduce the quality of service

· 
Gain knowledge of the policies and procedures of a specific functional accounting area, and process transactions in accordance with established procedures

· 
Exercise sound judgment in performing daily tasks, and escalate problems appropriately

To qualify, candidates must have:

· 
English language skills - excellent written and verbal communication

· 
Track record of helping leaders address new challenges and changes

· 
Demonstrated commitment to the job

· 
Ability to work effectively with others within a team, and across other parts of the firm

· 
Proficient with standard technology including Microsoft Windows, Word and Excel

· 
Effective problem solving and analytical skills

· 
Sound judgment to apply concepts and guidelines

Ability to prioritize assignments

· 
Competent at identifying and overcoming barriers to achieve results

· 
High school diploma, or equivalent training and work experience

· 
Associates degree preferred

· 
Deltek/Cost Point experience is a plus
