Consultant – Tax – Tax Technology & Transformation

 

Location: Bangalore

Tax Technology & Transformation: EY’s Tax Technology and Transformation team in India is organized to help navigate the digital agenda in the tax domain, offering a wide range of technology-based solutions to make our client's tax function future ready. Our broad approach to digital tax strategy, covering digital tax effectiveness, digital tax administration services, tax technology and tax big data, helps identify the tax function’s immediate challenges and develop an enhanced operating model strategy.

 

Digital tax strategy takes an in-depth look at tax from different angles including a tax department’s fundamental operations.

Managing tax big data enables efficient compliance and provides insights that facilitate strategic business decisions. We cover a wide range of services, including Transformation, Enterprise Integration, Intelligent and Process Automation, Data and Analytics and Governance and Risk Management

Your key responsibilities

Technical excellence

·  Understand requirements from the functional team and clients and deliver the features as per the requirements/ specifications.
·  Deliver high-quality software and work products in a time bound manner that exceed client expectations
·  Work in dynamic and collaborative environment within and across teams
·  Expert skills in Java/J2EE technologies and web application development
·  Good understanding of deployment of applications on cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure
·  Strong understanding and hands on experience of developing web applications with Rest Webservices, Angular JS, Java 1.8 and above, Spring Boot, Spring MVC.
·  Strong understanding of build tools like Maven and version control tools like SVN
·  Hands on experience using development tools like Eclipse, IntellijIDEA etc.
·  Hands on experience of writing automated test cases using unit testing frameworks like Junit
·  Good understanding of Micro Services architecture and building and deploying containerized web applications
·  Experience using static code quality tools like PMD, Checkstyle, Findbugs or enterprise quality measurement tools like SonarQube.
·  Experience working on big data technologies like Hadoop/Spark
·  Good understanding and hands on experience of using ORM tools like JPA/Hibernate and RDBMs like MSSQL, Oracle etc.
·  Experience working in any of the Agile methodologies is a must e.g. Scrum
·  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
·  Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, professional services environment

 

To qualify for the role you must have

 

·  BE/B.Tech/MCA from any Govt. recognized university/Institution  
·  Certifications in Java/J2EE technologies is desirable
·  Minimum 3–5 years of relevant work experience
