The opportunity

In response to strong market demand, EY has set up an EMEIA wide Cyber Security Centre of Excellence. We have a young, multinational team, passionate about their work, proud to be part of a leading global professional services firm, and looking to become the company’s ultimate experts in cyber security.

There are various areas of expertise amongst, such as threat intelligence, incident response, attack and penetration testing and other, but yours will be cloud security, as we are seeking capable, motivated individuals looking to further grow in this specialism.

 

Based out of Madrid, and supporting European and global clients, your role will be to lead and drive forward our cloud security offering, in collaboration with our European and Global cloud experts.

 

Your area of delivery will be continental Europe, the UK, and occasionally beyond. You will become a member of an international team that operates as a virtual HUB, and you will have a high degree of flexibility in how, when and where you work, but might be asked to travel as necessary.

Your role will be almost exclusively focused on delivery, team management and technical expertise; there is no sales pressure or sales target for you to achieve.

About the role

We are looking for individuals passionate about this field, with strong technical skills, along with a solid understanding of cyber security, its impact on the business, and its value in business risk management.

 

As a Cloud Security Architect, you will

• Work on cloud security risk assessments, cloud security architecture design, implementation and compliance reviews serving global accounts as a part of an international delivery team.

• Participate to bringing innovation in our existing services, and help set up new solutions.

• Work together with the team members, in order to grow and develop into an expert in this area.

• Understand the broader team’s strategy.

 

We are looking for the following skills and experience

• Fluent English and previous experience in using English as your working language. Knowledge of other European languages is a plus. Spanish would be desirable. We offer Spanish lessons for non-Spanish speakers in Madrid.

• Professional experience in the assessment and implementation of cloud security design, controls and solutions.

• Solid understanding of key cloud computing services, security frameworks, best practices, auditing, logging, security architecture as well as understanding of security standards.

• Experience with various network security technologies, system and network design, languages and data transfer protocols.

• Certifications such as CCSK, CCSP or other related in various technical domains are a strong asset.

• Experience in working with key could providers.

• Experience in building cloud security teams is highly desirable.

• Good communication and presentation skills.
