The opportunity

Our Data and Analytics (DnA) practice has an integrated service offering including the areas of:

·  Analytics
·  Enterprise Performance Management
·  Business Intelligence
·  Information Management & Strategy

 

Our focus within the Analytics competency is to use Analytics to deliver business insight, help monitor high and emerging risks and solve complex business problems.  DnA practice is a key enabler, and we’re integrating analytics and business intelligence into our internal audit, and Consulting transformation engagements. Our Analytics team delivers world-class information analytics solutions to help our clients solve their most pressing business issues.  We provide analytic services that include process based diagnostic analytics, decision support analytics, and advanced analytics.

We are seeking proven TMT data and analytics leaders at the Associate Partner level to build and grow our TMT book of business within the UK&I region and collaborate globally to deliver transformations for our clients.

Your key responsibilities

You will be expected to build relationships at senior levels within client organisations: working with them to understand their business problems and priorities, consulting with your EY peers to evaluate solution options that you will be expected to design and deliver, motivating and managing your team, often across borders and always from a diverse set of backgrounds.

 

The TMT Data and Analytics Associate Partner will be responsible for:

·  Solution execution and account integration – Expand and further develop relationships with existing clients to ensure that clients fully understand the benefits of E&Y’s service capabilities. 
·  Team development - Hire & develop the key resources needed to build the practice at all levels (revenue generation, account management, delivery and technical competency).
·  Technical thought leadership - Stay abreast of changes within Industry sector, regulatory, compliance, and/or risk environments and their impact on client industries and organizations.  Develop and maintain market thought leadership through regular speaking engagements at recognized venues and through regular publication of articles / white papers.
·  Revenue generation - Generate revenue by selling engagements to both new and existing clients with strong emphasis on selling the firm’s services across all EY platforms, and building multi-disciplined engagement teams to address the specific needs of the client.

You will be expected to add measurable value to your clients by delivering work that addresses their biggest problems and priorities. You will be expected to take-ownership for solution development and delivery trading on your technical expertise and experience in the following areas:

 

To qualify for the role you must have

·  Undergraduate degree in a degree with an emphasis in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Information Systems, Computer Science or General Business
·  Substantial consulting and advisory experience within a professional services environment; demonstrated success in an equivalent Associate Partner role within an organization
·  SpeciaIized industry sector experience in TMT
·  Significant experience in leading teams to sell and deliver analytics offerings to solve business problems and monitor risks in a leading professional services firm and /or within industry.  Must have a strong understanding of business processes and the application of analytic technologies to deliver value to the business and the ability to position findings with clients to deliver business insight and identify solutions and opportunities for projects.
·  Experience with ETL processes and objectives and proficiency in any of the following analytics tools; ACL, Tableau, Spotfire, Microsoft SQL Server, SPSS, SAS, Business Objects, Cognos, Informatica, Trillium, Data Stage
·  Clear history of successfully selling, delivering and growing revenue.
·  Has recent experience in working with large national and global accounts.  Demonstrated record in driving revenue within existing clients and in developing new prospects at the “C” level of Fortune 500 companies.
·  Proven client development and management ability at the account level.  Strategically qualify and then call on current and prospective clients, assess and define their needs, and respond with relevant products and services that are revenue-generating and relationship-enhancing.
·  Experience in program management for large scale business transformation projects and programs
·  Strong leadership skills; demonstrated ability to build an advisory practice.  Can attract, build, mentor and direct a high-performing cohesive team.
·  Demonstrated ability to work successfully within a matrixed organization and to enlist support and commitment from peers in selling and delivering advisory services.

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

·  A consulting background, with experience of business development and solution design for complex multi-national businesses
·  Masters preferred

·  An individual possessing the highest levels of professional and personal honesty, integrity and ethics.
