We are looking for Cloud Automation Experts for IoT platform to be part of our R&D team in Ericsson Finland. The position is located in the headquarters of Ericsson Finland, in Kirkkonummi.

Ericsson IoT Accelerator is a cloud based horizontal cross-industry IoT offering comprising of platform services and professional services, for service providers and industries. IoT Accelerator provides full IoT functional stack with cloud-agnostic delivery strategy incl. public cloud as well as on-premises deployments. The offering includes connectivity management, device and data management, analytics, data storage, monetization, security, industrial blockchain and an IoT Marketplace to enable enterprises to establish their own ecosystem for developers to innovate.

Your Role

As a Cloud automation expert, you will assume a DevOps vanguard role in our IoT Solutions R&D team. You will develop and maintain continuous integration and deployment pipeline solutions for Ericsson’s IoT products and solutions. As the member of our agile team you will also contribute to the development of IoT platform solutions. You are a team player, capable of working as a part of an international team as well as with customers.

We're looking for enthusiastic software developers who have fresh ideas and strong skills from high-end technology areas, such as cloud computing, real-time, large-scale distributed systems, networking and data storage, security, machine learning and data stream processing. With your technical expertise you will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions that power future networks. You’re confident about your technical skills and you are ready to tackle challenges working together with your agile team on virtualized network functions and cloud technologies.

Preferred qualifications:

·  Proven track record of working hands-on in software product development
·  Fluent in modern SW development tools and methodologies, such as Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, Test-driven development
·  Experience of CI and deployment pipeline
·  Experience in monitoring and dashboard visualization tools and solutions
·  Familiar with cloud platforms, e.g. MS Azure, AWS, Google Cloud
·  Development experience of applications and solutions in Linux Containers, KVM, and Docker/Rocket
·  Development/operation experience in orchestration system like Kubernetes, Docker and OpenStack
·  Development experience on messaging systems and/or REST API’s
·  Good skills in several programming languages, such as Python, Java, C, C++
·  Familiar with database solutions, such as MySQL
·  Passion for software development, ability to write clean code and willingness to learn new things
·  Interest towards knowledge sharing
·  Good collaboration and communication skills
·  Fluent in English

Seen as an advantage:

·  Experience on open source projects
·  Knowledge of IoT technology domains, such as device and connectivity management, billing, analytics and security
·  Experience on big data and analytics
