The GENERATION EUROPE BU (BU GEN) combines ENGIE’s thermal generation activities in Europe in a single entity to meet the business challenges of the energy transition. The Business Unit’s scope of activity covers the management and operation of natural gas, coal, biomass and large-scale Combined Heat Power assets. It is a cross-functional Business Unit currently operating about 20 GW across 8 countries (Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, The Netherlands, Portugal and Spain) with a workforce of 1500 employees. Carried forward by motivated teams and fully committed to our stakeholders, BU GEN aims at contributing to the harmonious progress by:

Poste et missions:
The Finance Department of BU GEN is looking for a highly motivated VIE to accompany the development and running of the business, through high added value analytical work, with a pan-European exposure on a globalized European energy market.
Main activities:
- Participate actively on processes and financial structure improvements through the deployment of different dedicated transversal projects
- Coordinate the deployment of harmonized automated reporting for the SG&A BU GEN reporting (70 M€)
- Coordinate SLA processes within the BU
- Prepare ad-hoc analysis upon request (i.e.: tariff calculation, etc.)
- Play an active role on various BU financial and business reportings
- Assure master data management
- Contribute to the follow up of the cash dashboard, invoices sent/paid on time
- Feed and reconcile data with Group tools (Smart/One Controlling)
Profil:
- University degree: Master level required (preferably in Finance / Economy)
- Good knowledge of finance, consolidation and/or accounting
- At ease with figures
- Team player
- Ability to work autonomously and dare to take initiative
- Fluent in English and French, at least. Command of European languages is an important asset
- Capability to understand and to adapt to different cultures
- Ability to work in a changing environment and with tough deadlines
- Pro-active, flexible and dynamic
- High capacity to summarize and synthetize
- Strong ability to make accurate and relevant financial analysis, assessments and judgments
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of SAP (FI/CO module) is an asset
- Knowledge of Energy and/or Services sector is a plus

- Occasional travel is to be foreseen
