N+1 : Senior Legal Counsel

Your function

Works directly with business teams to draft, negotiate and complete contracts within company parameters.  Supports ethics, compliance and licensing processes.

·  Prepare contracts, amendments, legal documents and correspondence, coordinating with attorneys and other team members as necessary.
·  Support the development of efficient contract drafting, negotiation and administration processes leveraging technology.
·  Support ethics and compliance processes.
·  Assist attorneys in the preparation and management of corporate documents.
·  Assisting the Data Privacy Manager with the implementation and follow up of the compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation;
·  May receive and manage service of legal process on legal claims, subpoenas, and other official legal documentation. Collaborate with other members of the legal team to continually improve internal client service.

External qualifications

·  Bachelor in Law
·  5+ years’ experience working in a legal team with a strong emphasis on business and commercial contracts
·  Proficient in written and spoken English and French
·  Strong interpersonal skills.
·  High-level of proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
·  Ability to learn and adopt new technologies.
·  Ability to work independently and prioritize and handle numerous competing demands in a high-volume, fast-paced working environment, frequently under urgent deadlines.
·  Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
·  Strong attention to detail Location  : Brussels
