ENGIE are recruiting for an Electrician's Mate to be based at Heysham 2 Power Station in Lancaster, LA3 2XN. This is a temporary, full time role working 37 hours a week for a fixed-term of 12 months. On offer is a competitive industry salary and high-quality benefits package.

General Overview:
The purpose of this role is to support the electrical team. Specifically, you will be assisting a qualified electrician to ensure that tasks are planned and delivered to client specification and agreed service requirements. 
This will allow you the opportunity to gain valuable experience, hone your craft and develop good, constructive relationships with line managers and other professionals in the industry. 

Duties will include:

· 

Installation of containment

· 

Minor electrical installation

· 

Cable pulling

· 

Minor wiring

· 

Assisting electricians with daily duties

Working Hours: 
Monday - Thursday: 07.30 - 16.15
Friday: 07.30 - 12.00

Skills and Technical Competencies:
·  Level 1 Health & Safety or Equivalent
·  Current CITB/CSCS or equivalent SQEP
·  17th edition and NVQs would be an advantage but not essential
·  Awareness of risk assessment and working safely
·  A proven background on commercial projects and some electrical knowledge
