ENGIE are recruiting for a Electrician to be based in Sizewell B Power Station. This is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. Monday to Thursday - 08:00 - 16:30 Friday - 08:00 - 14:00 On offer is a competitive salary, and benefits package.

ENGIE Projects departments embedded electrical team to carry out project related electrical works and installations.

Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:


Electrical Maintenance (including Electrical Test and Inspection of Fixed Wiring Installations) and Installation work in accordance with BS7671.

Technical Competences :

· 
Reads and understands Work Order Cards/Instructions/Method Statements.

· 
Reads and understands wiring diagrams and electrical drawings.

· 
Understands the dangers of testing live circuits in a fault finding situation.

· 
Understands the principles of isolation and lock of procedures in accordance with EDF Energy and Workplace Solutions policies procedures.

· 
The ability to use electrical test equipment – e.g. Multi Meter, Insulation Tester, etc.

· 
Understands and follows the risk assessment process.

· 
Disposes of equipment and waste materials in accordance with instructions and legislation – e.g. fluorescent tubes.

Required Qualifications, Skills or Experience:

Minimum Qualifications Required:

·  C&G Level 3 Certificate in the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS 7671:2018 18th Edition wiring regulations
·  Recognised electrical apprenticeship / NVQ level 3 certificate in electrical technology Desirable Qualifications:

·  C&G 2391 Testing and commissioning
·  Part One & Two Certificate in Electrical Installation Work
·  Supplementary Studies in Electrical Installations
·  Electrician’s Certificate
·  City & Guilds 2377-12 & 2377-11 PAT testing
·  CompEx certificate of competence
