ENGIE are recruiting for a Baggage System Supervisor to be based at Gatwick Airport, RH6 0PQ. This is a permanent full-time role working 38 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £40,583.60 and £8,116.56 of shift allowance per annum and benefits package.

Days and nights shift pattern on average 38 hours per week: 

Week 1 - 5 days 06:00 - 18:00 

Week 2 - 2 days 06:00 - 18:00 

Week 3 - 5 nights 18:00 - 06:00 

Week 4 - 2 nights 18:00 - 06:00 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

·  Active System Monitoring 
·  Site inspections of the Baggage Systems Daily as part of the day to day management.
·  Management of Subcontractors as per quality procedures in force.
·  Complete quality checks on work and record on QAC1 form.
·  Personal Development Reviews 
·  Maintenance
·  To ensure that the maintenance of the baggage system and equipment completed effectively and to a high standard of quality.
·  To ensure the maintenance schedule is optimised to ensure the equipment delivers performance targets.
·  To attend  daily and weekly customer (GAL/ MBO) meetings.
·  Staff Management
·  To ensure all staff are appropriately trained (Technical and Health Safety) to provide service to meet targets.
·  All Follow on works are created and entered into ULTIMO system
·  Health and Safety
·  To ensure that all Health & Safety rules are followed in line with company, statutory and GAL rules. 
·  Risk Assessment 
·  Identify all tasks completed. Particular attention should be paid to Slips Trips & Falls, Fire, Electrical, Mechanical, Work at Height, COSHH and DSE
·  Ensure all Risk assessments have been written and are up to date.

Required Qualifications, Skills or Experience: 

·  DBS Check 
·  Electro/Mechanical qualification. 
·  Ability to maintain an overview of various technical and operational functions. 
·  Previous man management experience and interpersonal skills. 
·  Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation. 
·  Administration of planned systems and data collection. 
·  Willing to work flexible hours.
