Description

Process, place and track local or international, intercompany or external vendor purchase requests that each customer sends to COP.

Responsibilities
·  Ensure delivery of excellent customer service through timely and accurate processing of orders,
• communication and coordination with other departments to resolve inquiries

·  Placement and processing sales orders and purchase orders in the respective ERP.
·  Check that each customer accomplish with the establish manufacturing and transporrtation lead times Build and maintain customer loyalty by providing prompt friendly service
·  Having a close communication with the Customers, informing the progress or problems that the purchase orders have when the order is placed.
·  Updated the report for open and closed orders daily with the information received from the suppliers or freight forward.
·  Request suppliers to send the possible date of shipment (Order Acknowledgment ) in 48 hours.
·  Follow up on shipping documents as required (Invoices, Packing List, B/L, etc)
·  Creation and sent to the supplier or freight forwarder the shipping instructions.
·  Liaise with Central Order Processing (COP) team, service providers, suppliers and customers to ensure all logistics requirement are fulfilled and prepared in a timely manner.
·  Monitor shipments status; provide regular updates of delivery status to the Customers
·  Attend to customer compliant on shortage/excess of delivery

ü Working knowledge of Information Technologies, software and applications

ü Customer focus

·  Bachelors Degree in Logistics, business administration or international commerce from recognized institutions
·  Minimum 2 years of Sea, Air and LCL shipping experience
·  Regional Shipping experience – proven track record of handling Latin America countries
·  Able to handle a full set of Import/Export Shipping documents
·  Proven communication skills dealing with Service Providers, Suppliers, Customers, and relevant governmental agencies (Customs, Trade departments)
·  Should have good shipping knowledge – capable of identifying and understanding implications of various shipping documentation and terminologies
·  Freight Forwarder experience will be preferred
·  ERP experience Oracle (desirable)
