The Challenge Ahead:

Join the team responsible for the development, execution and measurement of the integrated, omni-channel consumer facing with a focus on building player relationships and delivering on commercial goals worldwide on the EA Originals and 3rd party portfolio.

 

As Marcom Activation associate on EA Originals and 3rd party games, you will contribute to craft captivating omni-channel player facing activations across your portfolio transforming ‘if’ and ‘yes’ to ‘yes’ and ‘now’ with a  focus on new audiences for EA. Growing the most prolific community around gaming with timely, relevant and meaningful content across all channels and touchpoints. 

 

Responsibilities:

·  Consumer-facing marketing: Assist Marcom Activation Lead in overseeing the EA Originals and 3rd party consumer-facing marketing activations across channels and markets - Consistency and timely execution across all audience touchpoint
·  Relationship Management: Ensure alignment across various teams from Strategy, to brand, to local teams and external partners
·  Connect marketing activation with product and business deliverables: Equip teams with reasons to believe and align campaign execution with development and business goals.
·  Set the parameters for activation success:  Apply player, market and product insights, along with business objectives and strategies, to define marketing activation approach, tactics and KPIs.
·  Project Management: Manages day-to-day progress on channel activations including creative ideation, and content plans to ensure projects stay on story, on budget and on time
·  3rd party relationship: Build strong relationship and trust environment with 3rd party studio via regular studio visits across the world (mainly EU)    
·  Problem-solve: Collaborate with partner teams within and outside of Marcom to alleviate obstacles to timely, quality player-facing executions
·  Organize and track campaign performance data delivered by Global Analytics & Insights team; partner with Marcom Activation lead to ensure KPIs and data points are ready for all beats

 

Deliverables

·  Signature Initiatives: Craft breakthrough marketing programs to grow and feed EA Originals and 3rd party player community across all channels and markets
·  Marketing activation roadmap and Game Plan: Drive with Marcom Activation lead  global teams’ creation of integrated omni-channel (owned and partner) marketing plan – in alignment with business objectives and strategies.
·  Seamless player journey: Understand and leverage channels and audience insights to create cohesive player journey and ensure flawless execution of marketing activations.
·  Rhythm of Business: Ensure cohesive communication and collaboration among the EA Originals and 3rd party Marketing Activation team and key stakeholders (internal and external) via regular touchpoints .
·  Identify, celebrate and implement learnings from beats and retrospectives: Partner with analytics team to develop hypotheses and insights informing future activation optimization

Requirements

·  Several years of demonstrable experience in product management role within gaming or entertainment industries (interest in the gaming indie scene is a strong plus)
·  Excellent communication skills in English (written, spoken)
·  Excels at working in a matrixed team environment characterized by interdependency
·  Establishes and fosters strong internal and external relationships; consistently delivers exceptional work that instils a high degree of confidence with partners
·  Flexible and dynamic with the ability to adapt to changing goals and objectives
·  Strong understanding of all areas of marketing to manage integrated omni-channel consumer-facing campaigns
·  Adapt effectively across a variety of brands, products and stakeholders
·  Ability to take direction, be solution driven and manage priorities with self-sufficiency with remote team members
