You will enter the venture ecosystem in an international company with a unique position in the startup world!
As an analyst at Early Metrics, you will be fully autonomous and responsible for the entire rating process of young and venture tech companies. Your role:
- Finding great US startups to rate for our clients: online screening, going to pitching events etc.;
- Preparing and leading rating interviews with great US entrepreneurs;
- Conducting financial & extra-financial analyses, based on a solid methodology you will be trained for;
- Doing market studies on US technology trends that can disrupt our clients’ sectors;
- Being in regular contact with our clients, key decision makers within top organizations;
More specifically, you’ll join Early Metrics during its expansion phase into the USA. You will thus work closely with the Manager US ratings to help the company set up locally. Hence, you will support on:
- Building a local ecosystem by negotiating partnerships with targeted incubators and accelerators in the US to create inbound qualitative dealflow
- Representing the company at events, presenting our value proposition in a compelling way
- Organizing internal and external events and building local network
- Publishing online content to create brand awareness
- Engaging with our community of entrepreneurs to identity and nurture champions
The training period will take place in Paris with a departure date to the US (New York or San Francisco, TBD) within 3
- 6 months after arrival.
You are:
- Last year student or junior professional willing to take up exciting new challenges;
- Excellent academic record: Master’s degree from a top-tier business school or university, with a concentration in economics, strategy and/or finance;
- 12-18 months relevant work experience (incl. internships) in previous position with proven analytical skills and client/entrepreneur facing.
- Native English and ideally US citizen (or at least Bilingual in English with few years living in the USA)
- Highly autonomous and ready to go into the field
- Passionate about startups, specifically US startups
- Willing to relocate to the US within 3 to 6 months after arrival
- Open to travel: Business trips to the US before relocation are possible
