Serves as the functional product/system expert for one or more modules in an ERP product or for one module in multiple products. Understands the business strategy of one or more functional areas and works with client and team to define business requirements. Leads or acts as subject matter expert and participates in the gathering and analysis of business requirements, configuration of product, implementation, maintenance and/or upgrade of ERP modules. Participates in developing problem solving strategies, problem resolution and investigation resulting from test environment outcomes. Works with technical team to offer solutions.

Essential Job Functions

Leads project or acts as subject matter expert with client to gather and analyze user business requirements and processes. Understands client requirements, needs, and functionality, as it relates to client, of ERP product. Defines and documents business requirements and validates solutions with the client.
Applies knowledge of product platform functionality and the configuration toolkit to translate business requirements into functional design specifications, configuration changes or initial settings, module-relevant security settings and reporting options.
Understands all relevant levels impacted by the ERP system including business processes and reporting requirements, user interface, ancillary technologies, configuration toolset and a strong understanding of tables, fields and the function of source code. Applies, modifies, and/or recommends change as appropriate.
Understands the integration of the software platform and implication of module changes on other module functionality, master data impacted, security and development solutions. Provides ongoing ERP functional system support. Communicates and interacts with technical team and client to resolve functional issues to meet the client's requirements.
Provides and/or develops end-user training for product module(s).
Provides leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Bachelor's degree in business administration, information systems, or related field preferred
Nine or more years of ERP business solutions, business analysis or management analysis experience
Proficient with multiple ERP modules within one or more product lines
Experience assisting users with business process changes and improvement initiatives

Strong problem solving skills to identify, analyze and solve complex business application problems in an ERP environment
Strong presentation skills to present to management and customers

Ability to publicly represent company with internal and external clients
Ability to convey a strong presence, professional image, and deal confidently with complex business problems
Ability to communicate technical and business matters clearly in lay terms for comprehension by multiple audiences
Ability to work in a fast paced environment with multiple shifting priorities
Ability to manage competing priorities in a complex environment
