Summary

Assists with monitoring and execution of critical business processes to align information technology solutions with business needs and SLAs. Uses online and batch scheduling and business products to manage production and non-production work and ensure scheduling activities are completed in accordance with established SLAs.

Essential Job Functions

o  Assists in planning and designing business processes; assists in formulating recommendations to improve and support business activities.

o  Develops and maintains automated job schedules in support of multiple clients to ensure completion and timely production of work. Works with the development staff to establish processing priorities to meet service level agreements. Sets up special production and on-request jobs, altering daily schedule as necessary to accommodate special requests.

o  Troubleshoots non-routine errors related to batch processing, late critical batch, and SLAs. Works to improve productivity.

o  Develops and tests new batch processes to ensure productivity is not adversely affected. Escalates matters of significance as appropriate.

o  Creates, recommends and implements scheduling monitoring procedures and timely documentation of procedures; ensures implementation is in accordance with standard scheduling procedures; escalates errors as appropriate.

o  Works to minimize operator interventions using automating schedules to reduce errors.

o  Analyzes the planning, developing, and coordinating of scheduling techniques to improve operations productivity. Generates and analyzes output of forecasts of job schedules in support of monitoring and tracking of batch processes.

o  Prepares for and participates in daily service reviews and shift turnover meetings. Forwards status reports to clients and management.
