We, Decathlon Nutrition Engineering Center, are 20 teammates passionate by sports, nutrition et health and motivated to master development, industrialization; production and supply of Decathlon sports nutrition products.

The JOB
Linked with the buyers of the team, you are responsible to build a mapping on all European potential suppliers for some of our products.
Integrated in the production team, and trained by Decathlon Purchasing Hub, you will have to well understand our needs and industrial policies, especially on fishing products, protein bars, almond bars, but also on all Decathlon nutrition products.

Based on our purchasing policies and industrial strategies:
- You will have to draw a global picture of the industrial processes you will work on (number of suppliers, type of technology used, level of concentration ….)
- You will build a global list of the existing suppliers in Europe with key datas that will help to make a first selection, matching suppliers with Decathlon's wills and values.
- In collaboration with the buyers, you will skim the suppliers, based on the information you collected and Decathlon's strategy.
- Based on this short list and on "ideal supplier draft made by buyers" You will analyse deeply and contact the candidates to propose a final list.
- After all actions, you will be able to build a map of all potential suppliers for Decathlon.

Desired profile

Trainee in first or second year of business school or engineering school, (European Master Degree), you practice with passion sports, and want to discovercompany life in a sportive and dynamic company.
You have big interest in nutrition and its current challenges, you are curious and open-minded.
Concrete and organized, you can work in autonomy and responsibility when giving clear goals.
You are team spirit oriented and love to be proactive in team's life.
Your communication skills (listening, convictions enthusiasm, sharing and respect) and easy relationship help you to work efficiently in project mode
You master English and French (you will have to contact several companies in English and French).
