SCIENTIFIC AFFAIRS TRAINEE – INTERNSHIP/STAGE

For our Cluster Business Services division in Milan we are looking as of now for a Scientific Affairs Trainee.

We offer an internship/stage in a dynamic and challenge environment where you'll contribute to the achievements of your team.

About the job

You'll provide scientific support to all the three areas of business where Danone operates in the GRIT cluster, namely Essential Dairy and Plant Based, Early Life Nutrition and Advanced Medical Nutrition with daily interaction with internal and external stakeholders such as, respectively, Marketing, Sales, PR, R&D, Quality and Regulator Bodies, legal and consultancy firms.

You'll report to the Scientific Affairs Manager

In details, you'll be involved on key activities for all the Danone's companies in Italy for nutritional contents such as:

·  Check and first support for validation of scientific contents;
·  Provide scientific backgrounds for requested topics;
·  Drafting scientific communication contents;
·  Full support for meetings/congresses;
·  Scientific literature search and updates;
·  Presentations

About you

To be able to achieve the above and be successful in this role, we believe you need to have:

·  Degree in scientific subject, like Food Science, Food Technology or Biology or Pharmacy with a focus on nutrition;
·  Problem solving and entrepreneurial thinking;
·  Structured and analytical way of working;
·  Relational skills and flexibility;
·  Previous experience will be a plus;
·  Knowledge of main scientific databases will be a plus (Medline, ...).
·  Fluent in English
