About the Role

Reporting to the Regional Finance Director for Essential Dairy & Plant Based Products (EDP), you are expected to play a pivotal role responsible for reliable and compliant financial accounting and reporting processes. You will be responsible for covering internal business units and joint-ventures in Asia Pacific and Middle East. The team is expanding with new growth initiatives in the region to capitalise on the rise of plant-based product trends. Be part of the EDP team for explosive growth and acceleration!

About the Job

·  Ensure financial accounting and reporting tasks are done in a timely and accurate manner
·  Work closely with Cluster Business Units (CBU), Cluster Business Services (CBS), Regional Business Services (RBS) and Joint-Venture Finance teams to review/assess financial data and performance
·  Work closely with Group Consolidation and Controlling teams to ensure proper application of group accounting principles and delivery of reporting requirements in the company systems on time
·  Guarantee an effective internal control system in the accounting, closing and reporting process
·  Responsible for planning, animation and monitoring of Regional Business Unit (RBU) activities: pre-closing, closing, reporting
·  Prepare monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, annual reports/presentations for Group Finance team at HQ
·  Monitor and manage day-to-day financial operations, e.g., payroll, invoicing, and other transactions
·  Track region's financial performance and identify potential areas of savings, efficiency, improvement
·  Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation (region, countries in scope)
·  Own more complex topics such as Forex, Deferred taxes, Capex
·  Manage different stakeholders and ensure proper support in forecasting process and financial reporting
·  Build relationships and communicate strongly and efficiently with internal and external stakeholders

About You

·  Preferably a Master degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent
·  6 to 8 years of experience in consolidation, group reporting, financial control
·  Prior experience in a similar role (MNC/Big4) is a big asset
·  Have analytical and conceptual mindset, stress resistant and able to work with tight deadlines
·  Team player and an enthusiastic personality with drive to increase own knowledge base
·  Excellent interpersonal skills that inspire and build trust with the team as well as with relevant functions and key stakeholders
