An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Account Administrator to join our team here at our head office in Trowbridge, Wiltshire. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a team that really make's a difference to our business. This is a 6 month fixed term contract initially with opportunities to extend and be made permanent.

Overall Purpose of the Job

Responsible for the management of a portfolio of GP surgeries, to build relationships and ensure prescriptions are sent to us and matched to the relevant orders.

To collaborate with the immediate team to ensure all work is covered. Ensure that best practice knowledge is shared between all team members.

Key Responsibilities

Customer (internal and external)

·  Work with other Customer ServiceTeams to provide the best possible level of service, meeting all outstanding prescription needs, to deliver shared goals, improvements, new working practises and business efficiency gains

Process

·  To build relationships with GPs to ensure that prescriptions that are due to the business are received in a timely and accurate manner
·  Proactively manage any telephone enquiries received within the team from both internal and external along with outbound calls to customers / GP’s with a view to managing to secure all outstanding prescriptions into the business.
·  To manage the daily reports to check for orders raised without prescriptions, collate excel report(s) for outbound GP calls and update spreadsheet/chronicles with relevant information following call
·  Raise queries to other departments internally to highlight any concerns/actions that may need to be done to the relevant team / department
·  To be responsible for the daily management of email / inbox / answering machine calls

Quality

·  Work in accordance with SOPs, compliance.
·  Highlight any methods of improvement to existing processes

Main Challenges

·  Maintain the quality of service to both pharmacy and customers service during periods of high volume critical working days
·  To be responsible for systems and process updates to ensure the integrity and accuracy of reportable data

Key Measures & Performance Indicators

·  Homeward total overdue prescription debt & write off debt (6 months overdue) to be under the set business target
·  Deliver a high level of output consistently – daily targets set of which is reportable and measured
·  Raise awareness, of issues that may have an impact on the either the Prescription processing and Homeward teams.

Job Holder Skills & Experience Required

Essential:

·  Accurate and efficient Data Processing Capability
·  Intermediate working knowledge of Excel
·  Excellent telephone manner
·  Confidence to converse/challenge when needed across functions at all levels
·  Can demonstrate ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
·  Able to work to strict deadlines and can demonstrate this
·  Have a clear understanding of our products and services offered.
