Would you like to work at the heart of the Global HQ of Nutricia/Danone within the Medical Affairs team? Are you able to contribute to our product communication and innovation, engage your stakeholders, and deliver input to our medical strategy? In this challenging role you will be responsible tactically and operationally for managing the medical activities of projects in the area of paediatrics. One of the main goals will be to achieve an aligned plan of action with our country affiliates, and help to drive the company and category vision, the credibility of Nutricia and the brand objectives.

About the Job

Knowledge and insights

·  Be a content driven sparring partner for the Core Paediatrics community (incl. R&I, healthcare and consumer marketing and medical & scientific affairs managers of other CBUs)
·  Undertake creation and/or drive use of (new) evidence and research, disseminate new data and implement evidence based practice to maximize awareness, access and credibility to shape the future of the Core Paediatric portfolio (such as medical insights and rationales), in conjunction with medical & healthcare teams)
·  Actively contribute to the Medical Scientific affairs strategy and activities of Core Paediatrics by identifying, analysing & sharing relevant trends from nutritional science, research & publications, health/social care environments and KOLs/HCPs
·  Support developing Nutricia Core Paediatrics current and future value propositions and superiority in a cross-functional team
·  Identify, analyze and monitor activities of competitors , trends and needs in the infant nutrition industry

Evidence leveraging and generation

·  Develop clear overviews and analysis of existing evidence base and gaps
·  Work with Information Services to identify, interpret and share relevant key clinical data with countries using available tools
·  Based on identified gaps and needs, support the development of an evidence plan for Core Paediatrics.
·  Work closely with R&I to review and define appropriate study designs and provide input into manuscripts prior to publication

Communication

·  Create and deliver presentations both internally and externally on the evidence base and clinical applicability of our products in the area of Core Paediatrics and contribute to the development of position statements and other communication materials
·  Input into the development of communication plans
·  Contribute to design and execution of internal/external workshops and meetings

Stakeholder engagement

·  Map opinion leaders and other key stakeholders (e.g. policy makers, healthcare professional associations, patient associations) in the area of core paediatrics and develop influencing plans using available tools to shape the field
·  Contribute to the organization and implementation of KOL, HCP and patient events, meetings and education (symposia, Advisory Boards, HCP Study days, roundtables, etc.)

About You

To be able to achieve the above, you have a Master- or PhD- degree in Life Science or Nutrition and 2-3 years relevant experience in a clinical or commercial environment (health care in a hospital setting, food or pharmaceutical industry).

If you are our ideal candidate, you also need the following:

·  Have business acumen and understanding of future trends in multi-HCP environment (e.g. literature, competition, congresses, etc.)
·  Experience in KOL engagement
·  Excellent communication skills with the ability to easily interact with people (both internally and externally) and in translating scientific information to different audiences
·  A proactive and can-do attitude
·  Flexible, curious, open, team player
·  Agility to be able to deal with several projects at the same time while keeping the right focus
·  Ability to thrive in a high-paced and sometimes chaotic environment
·  Fluency in business English, written and oral
·  Willingness to travel 10-20% of the time
