Job description

Danone Essential Dairy and Plant-based division is currently recruiting a (Jr.) Brand Manager Oikos/Danette HU&CZ&SK based in Budapest or in Prague.

As a (Jr.) Brand Manager Oikos/Danette HU&CZ&SK , you will lead Oikos brand primary (Danette as secondary) and will be single point of contact on the markets.

What are the key responsibilities of the (Jr.) Brand Manager Oikos/Danette HU&CZ&SK?

You will be the responsible person for brand management from the strategic planning through local activation and execution on HCS level with the support of CEN Indulgence SBM.

1) Monitor and Animate Brand Execution Fundamentals

·  Range and Distribution: Contribute to defining and monitoring the best performing range that maximizes turnover and profitability
·  Prices: contribute to the regular price elasticity assessment of sub-ranges and to related business opportunities identification hand in hand with PRGM, SNI, finance and business development teams
·  Promos: contribute the best working promo mechanics (conceptual, pricing)identification and monitor proper roll-out together with PRGM, finance and shopper team

2) HCS Brand Strategy and Yearly Marketing Activity Plan:

·  Situation Understanding – Identify Gaps and Opportunities based on market understanding to drive brands performance to further growth
·  Brand performance understanding and drivers (topline, financials, shoppers, customers)
·  In-Market performance with strong cooperation with SnI/Category manager
·  Key learning of Brand Activities
·  Contribute to the shopper understanding in cooperation with S&I and Trade Marketing teams to better understand shopper insights, shopping mission, path to purchase and trends
·  Planning
·  Brand activation plan based on above learnings
·  Propose amendments to plan if relevant
·  Coordinate local media planning with HCS media manager and external agency

3) Local Activation:

·  ZMOT –
·  Plan, coordinate, execute all ZMOT related activities on HCS level
·  Briefing agencies and follow up
·  FMOT
·  Full responsibility of the respected brands HCS FMOT plan and excellence in execution
·  Recommend shopper objectives and relevant customer in-store activation plan (fundamentals, activation, exclusive) with the lead of shopper marketing team
·  Lead and manage HCS campaigns from idea to implementation and follow up
·  SMOT
·  Adapt / Develop product solutions to meet brand objectives: Lead and manage agreed HCS initiatives including sourcing, product/pack development, consumer tests and contribute in defining execution fundamentals for new product solutions

4) Represent the brand within HCS organization

·  Represent the brand in relevant internal meetings (Amplification meeting, Portfolio meeting, Demand, Project meetings…) and in all sales related event like customer presentations, field team meetings, sales days, depo road shows etc

5) Financials and Administrative

·  Monitor and manage brands budget in HCS contribute to efficient spending (Working / Non-working)
·  Understand the impact of financial decisions

6) People Management

Manage, lead, improve 2 trainees ( 1 in HU and 1 in CZSK) splitted with and other HCS JBM.

Who is an ideal candidate for the role of (Jr.) Brand Manager Oikos/Danette HU&CZ&SK?

·  University/College degree in Economics/Management (marketing specialty is a plus)
·  2+ years in FMCG marketing
·  Fluent English, native HU and or CZ/SK
·  MS office (strong in Excel and Power Point)
·  Nielsen and Dunnhumby is a plus
·  Marketing Indicators understanding: penetration, awareness, buying frequency
