Danone North America is looking for a Trade Marketing Associate in San Juan Bautista.

Job Description

The Trade Marketing Assocaite acts as a liaison between the Marketing organization and the Regional Sales Team, Customer Service Team and Broker team to support Sales related needs related to trade promotions, Marketing Development Fund, In-Store Promotions, New Product Launches, displays and POP materials. The Associate Trade Marketing Manager also supports new product development through trial and awareness building programs and presentations. The Associate Trade Marketing Manager will collaborate with the Marketing and Regional sales team to help implement and execute channel specific trade strategies and manage the budget for these types of promotions. Working in concert with Marketing, Category Management, Sales and Finance, the Associate Trade Marketing Manager will evaluate the effectiveness of the promotion and efficiencies of trade spending.

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop, implement and evaluate the effectiveness of trade marketing promotional spending by channel or region. Develop reports to share with the organization to effectively communicate successes and opportunities. Provide pre and post promotional trade marketing spending analysis, ROI and recommendations for future promotions Develop and manage copy for customer-facing marketing materials, including sell sheets, point-of-sale materials, trade ads, etc. Become the Center of Excellence (COE) for effective in-store point of sale programs and merchandising Manage Earthbound Farm’s Trade Website EBFarmTrade.com, including but not limited to vendor relations, updates, content management, etc. Work with Marketing team to implement and execute new product sell in plans and presentations Manage marketing communications and updates with broker network. Assist in implementing national and customer-specific trade and shopper marketing programs

Preferred Candidate Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

·  Bachelor’s Degree required
·  Minimum 2-3 years of experience in produce field Sales or related functions, including broker management, direct customer selling experience, Category Management or Shopper Marketing
