Job description

The Analytics and Reporting EcoSystem (ARES) is a Data Analytics Platform used throughout Group Operations Solutions Delivery (GOSD). ARES uses a Hadoop Infrastructure for storing any and all data used by GOSD for Regulatory Reporting and Data Analytics, providing a centralized and consolidated place for teams to find structured data directly from the original source systems. ARES features a Multi-Tenancy model, where GOSD teams can create a Sub-Tenant on the platform to store program-specific data, and any Main (shared) Tenant data that has been enriched for the team's unique purposes. ARES also provides connections to external data analytic and visualization tools like Alteryx and Tableau.

We are looking for a new member of the ARES team to help develop and productionize the platform, and facilitate its use within the bank to current and possible Sub-Tenant users.

· Working with the newest technologies available in the bank relating to Big data (Cloudera Hadoop data lake, Alteryx, Tableau)
· Working in a pure agile delivery environment with a very experienced and seasoned Scrum Team
· Working as a part of global and diversified team to define user requirements, develop and test new features
· Partner with other teams within GOSD, and business users who utilize the ARES platform
· Identify, manage and escalate where appropriate project risks and issues associated to requirements gathering, analysis and design

Desired profile

Qualifications :

·  Open mindset, keen to learn new things and willing to contribute by assuming many roles within the team
·  Knowledge of Agile/Scrum in relation to IT delivery
·  Experience of using JIRA, Confluence, and Odyssey tools
·  Experience with Linux systems, Python scripting, and SQL
·  Experience with DevOps tools
·  Excellent attention to detail
·  Good quantitative and analytical problem solving skills. Able to break down complex problems, frame them into simple terms
·  Great self-starter teammate and dedicated problem solver happy to take initiative to improve and ready to go "extra mile"
·  You are highly motivated and have superb interpersonal skills in English to be able to cooperate in distributed teams environment.
·  Ability to find short-comings/inefficiencies in existing procedures, and offering solutions to automate/optimize those procedures
