Missions

Based in Hong-Kong and reporting to the North Asia IT Manager and member of the Asia ex-Japan IT team and the Global Infrastructure/Network team.

The context in Asia is that entities are currently ongoing several large infrastructure projects on which the incumbent will participate. The incumbent will also be responsible of the support of supporting the WAN Infrastructure, Branch office infrastructure and Data Centre Network infrastructure, including Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Load Balancers, Wan Accelerators, Wireless controllers, remote access appliances, monitoring and management appliances and platforms

 

Responsibilities:

The key area of responsibilities will include:
• Supporting the current network solutions and service offerings.
• Providing technical support to the operations, server and application teams.
• Delivering and supporting network infrastructure projects, including topics like: WAN, LAN optimization, security requirements deployment, new sites implementation…
• Creating standard documentation, from physical and logical architecture diagrams to process and procedures.
• Monitoring is a key part of this role
• Providing good solid support to current IT groups and the business itself.

Ad hoc related tasks upon request.

Expérience

Experience of creating standard documentation, from physical and logical architecture diagrams to process and procedures.
An working knowledge of networking technologies and protocols including routing, switching, firewalls, IDS/IPS, wireless, load balancers.
