Job summary

1. FINREP report to Banking of Spain (she/he will work together with the FINREP reporting team. This job represents nearly 100% of workload in the month after the end of quarter (April, July, October and December).
2. Product control of a product line (metier) in CA-CIB Madrid (Trade, syndication, bilateral …). Regarding this product line:
- a monthly review of the accounting to ensure a correct reporting (Essbasse)
- he / she will need to become an expert in its transactions
- working closely with BO and Middle Office,
- attending to HO requests and collaborating in the Budget process.
In this task, She/he will collaborate with the Essbase/Cream team.
3. Analytical follow up and Budget process for expenses
4. Collaborate and back up (when needed) of payment/accounting to suppliers and VAT report

Technical skills required

1. Expert/high level in accounting in the banking sector.
2. Expert in Excel tool and ability to manage and organise large quantities of data.
3. Expert/high level in FINREP report to Bank of Spain. One of the important functions of this post will be the dedication to the bank of Spain report (currently a weak area in the FIN department), two and a half members of the FIN team will be allocated to this report. If the candidate is not expert in this report, he/she must be prepared to make an great effort to become an expert until they can be the back-up for the FINREP reporting team on it.
4. High level of English. Knowledge of French would also be an advantage, although not essential.
5. Knowledge in word and power point would also be an advantage.
