Localization: Dor- Israel - (20mns south from Haifa)

Duration: 18 months

VIE (Volontariat International en Entreprise) is open to candidates between the ages of 18 and 28 who are nationals of a country in the European Economic Area.

Main Role:

Civil Engineer graduated is responsible to assist the site construction team with supervising and managing all civil, concrete and underground works and compliance with TFMC safety and QC Standards. He will support the Site Construction Manager, and the Senior Civil Engineer in all tasks and activities related to the civil scope of work, in term of reporting, supervisions, and managing Local subcontractor at site.

Main Task :

The Civil Engineer for the activities of competence is responsible to:

• Oversee and supervise on-site construction and installation of civil works relating to foundations, road installation/maintenance, drainage systems, building construction, cable trenches construction and cables installation, metal structures and PV modules installation, civil works in HV, MV substations, fencing and generally any other civil work required for the Project completion

• Support the Supervision and monitor civil subcontractors in order to meet technical, quality and compliance requirements as set forth in civil drawings, specifications and schedule.

• Detect possible civil works quality problems prior or during the works and proceed in problem solving by coordinating with site construction manager.

Attend all progress and quality meetings

Ensure all quality documentation is signed off and ready for handover per project schedule.

• Observe and report findings of daily site activities from civil subcontractors;

• Raise Field Observation Reports for deficiencies when required

Manage contractor productivity, taking corrective action to ensure required planned production schedule is met

• Create reports to monitor, and track civil activities relating to project schedule through daily and weekly plans, logs and reports.

• Assist on-site construction team in resolving technical or engineering issues with vendors and contractors relating to civil disciplines.

• Assess and determine the actual progress on site based on approved production schedule.

• Check that all safety related construction activities; follows approved safety specifications formally records non-conformance and attends all relevant safety meetings

• Instructing Subcontractors to fully observe applicable HSE requirements

• Implement the Field Quality Control Plan/Procedures and construction specification for civil structure and construction activities.

• Support the Quality Control Manager (QCM) in performing the quality control activities in light of:

• Advising on quality control procedures, methods and practices/actions;

• Providing adjustments, when necessary, to QCP and QCR;

•Analyse and report the Quality Control results;

• Ensure timely resolution of any QC problems encountered during construction;

• Ensure the collection and filing of Civil structures Quality Control Reports issued during the construction works and of any other document certifying the quality of the works in the Construction Quality Dossier to assure traceability of documents, according to itemization criteria by proper filing and indexing;

You are rigorous, willing to work in challenging and multi-cultural environment, motivated.

TOEC score: 850 and speaking fluently in English
