Poste et missions:

-Scope of Job:

This internship will provide a unique opportunity for experiential learning in the renewable energy industry. The candidate will be responsible for providing analysis to support the operations of solar, storage, and EV charging assets, and assisting in the program management of the projects from investment approval to commercial operation. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and ambitions to help EDF Renewables build a more sustainable future.

-Responsibilities:

•70% Project Operations Analyst
o Prepare a monthly report to track budget to actual for operational projects and provide commentary on identified issues to inform the team on the status of each project

o Continuously monitor project operational performance using web-based software, identify issues, and submit support requests via ticketing system to the optimization or hardware specialists with suggestions on how to improve performance or remedy identified problems

o Complete ad hoc analyses on operational projects
oUtilize operational tools to schedule preventative maintenance activities at a low cost while minimizing the impact on the projects and for the customer

o Develop lessons learned feedback loop to improve project economics across the portfolio. This includes defining project KPIs related to schedule, quality, and budget that feed a portfolio reporting dashboard

o Refine existing operational tools for new projects based on site-specific needs

o Make suggestions to the software team on how to improve the user interface and functionality of the asset management software

•20% Project Manager
o Manage the schedule and checklist of items for completion by the commercial operation date, including:

o Requesting and obtaining insurance policies through the risk management team

o Programing data collection devices for projects in development

o Coordinating requests and communicating with business development, engineering, asset management, and third-party vendors to ensure they complete requirements on time

•10% - Other duties as assigned
Supervision of Others: Not applicable

Working Conditions:

75% of time is spent in the office environment, utilizing computers (frequent use of various Microsoft software/programs), phones, and general office equipment.

25% of time is spent outside of the office visiting vendors’ and/or internal customers’ sites in additional to attending various conferences and meetings.

Profil:

Education/Experience

•Graduate or Undergraduate Degree in Engineering or Business

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities –

•Exceptional interpersonal skills, credibility, and communications skills
•Strong analytical and research skills
•Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
