The Conference of Peripheral Maritime Regions (CPMR) is a European Association gathering some 150 regions across Europe, which strives to support their interests in the core areas of territorial cohesion, maritime policy, territorial accessibility and multi-level governance.

Poste et missions:
The CPMR is currently seeking a Policy Officer to support the Director responsible for Maritime Affairs and Climate. S/he will support him in his daily activities to represent CPMR Member Regions and their position on maritime affairs, particularly in relation to the European Parliament. S/he will also provide support and animate the Secretariat of the European Parliament Intergroup on Seas, Rivers, Islands and Coastal Areas (SEArica).

Profil:

The successful candidate should have a near-native or native level of fluency in English, a university degree in a relevant field as well as at least one year’s worth of experience of EU affairs, preferably working with local and regional government. Knowledge and personal interest in EU Maritime policies is a strong asset as well as proficiency in at least one other European language (particularly French). The position is based in Brussels
