The mission of the Business Control team is to have a complete grip on the overall ALBI-LI P&L, being the sum of the P&L’s of the SBL’s. The P&L is composed of Sales, Variable Costs, Fixed Costs, General Expenses, D&A etc.
? The current tools of the Business Control team do not provide easily readable insight into the Fixed Costs and Semi-Fixed Costs. With the help of the current Business Controllers, the mission of the Junior Business Analyst will consist in:
? a deep-dive into Fixed and Semi-Fixed costs,
? dividing these costs into different sub-categories (“cutting the problem into pieces”),
? developing tools and dashboards to provide readability and understanding of these costs.
? Apart from the above-mentioned deep-dive, and more in general, you will develop (BI-) dashboards that further facilitate and continuously improve the internal P&L reporting to the AL Group and Hub Operations Control teams, respectively based in Paris and Frankfurt.
? Last but not least, you will have the opportunity to act as a backup for the current Business Controllers, and in such periods manage the P&L of one of the SBL’s during the monthly closing periods.
