Partner Systems Engineer

What You'll Do

Systems Engineers at Cisco are technical leads that advice and support Sales teams with pre-sales and deep technical knowledge. As Customer and Partner focused technical sales professional you will provide technical advice on the design / implementation of technical solutions based on Cisco equipment. You will collaborate with Cisco Partners and attract additional resources (for example, technology consultants, laboratory resources, etc.)

In this job you will:

• Work with Customers and Partners to find a new business opportunities.
• Actively work with Partners (provide assistance in certification process and Design)
• Define a Customer's business problem in a technical context.
• Develop technical solutions based on Cisco equipment and articulate its benefits.
• Work out and provide answers to the RFP including the preparation of specifications.
• Conduct a PoC (Prove of Concept) using demonstration laboratories, including the presentation and documentation of test results
• Ensure the escalation of requests and outstanding cases to the appropriate organizations in Cisco.
• Actively develop professional skills (technical, presentation, communication)

Cisco Pre-sales delivers the message about the vital role the network plays to our Customers and Partners. New demands on the network are calling for new solutions: SDN, Fog Computing, iWAN and, more importantly, secure networks that can sense and enforce security threats. We help Customers understand how to use these state of the art networks. And make it possible for them to achieve their business goals in ways they would never have imagined. Who You Are

Should you be interested in this role you should come with:

A higher education in IT/Programming.

You should bring at a minimum 3-4 years of actual work experience.

Practical knowledge of networks and information systems, ideally, confirmed by professional level certifications (CCNP/CCDP) or expert level certifications (CCIE/CCDE).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Russian.

Desired skills:

Knowledge of Cisco products and Cisco certifications.

Adept at using initiative, discretion and judgment to apply technical solutions to complex sales opportunities.

Adept at customer interactions from the CIO through to technical staff.

Knowledge of sales cycle.

Impactful verbal and written communication and strong presentation skills.

Great relationship building skills, tenacity, resilience.

Ability to work independently and remotely as well as with your team to accomplish objectives.

Ability to train and coach others in our enterprise technologies.
