Jr ServiceNow Tester

Position Description
• CGI Federal has an exciting opportunity for a ServiceNow Quality Assurance Engineer / Tester for a project with a large federal client.
• You will work with a motivated CIO shop that is passionate about Agile development and is eager to improve its process and mission efficiency.
• You will experience true teamwork by being part of a high-performing Agile team, working side-by-side with the client's product owners to rapidly deliver the benefits of COTS software with limited technical debt.
• This is an opportunity to be on the frontline working with ServiceNow - a Gartner magic quadrant tool LEADER.
• You will gain valuable digital transformation experience for upcoming client use cases, projects and contract awards.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Work at client-site in Arlington, VA
• Work directly with clients
• Write test scripts and perform integration, system, regression and performance test
• Support user-acceptance testing
• Develop, execute and maintain test plans, test scenarios, test cases and test scripts
• Document and evaluate test results and defects, track and manage defects and work with Development team and business to troubleshoot issues
• Provide testing estimates for assigned work
• Establish and maintain traceability of requirements through test plans and cases
• Partner with business analysts and project managers to ensure requirements are documented, understood, covered by tests and accurately tested
• Assist the QA automation efforts in building and maintaining a stable and reliable automation infrastructure by providing functional and complete manual tests to be included in automated testing and in identifying candidates for automation tests
• Leverage standard DevOps tools / processes, maximizing what is available.
• Produce and/or participate in development of documentation (e.g., design docs, release and deployment related documents, deployment, training/job-aids, user manuals).

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• US citizen with uninterrupted & verifiable history for the past 2 years
• Testing experience in integration, system, regression and performance test
• Agile experience
• Strong problem solving, communication and writing skills
• Self-starter with demonstrated ability to work on concurrent multiple efforts/projects, activities and tasks under time constraints
• Demonstrated ability to work in team-based environments

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• ServiceNow certification
• Experience with providing UAT support
• Experienced with Performance test
• Experience with an automated testing tool (e.g., Selenium)
• Experience performing API testing
