Position Description
CGI Federal is seeking a Bus Driver to support DEA in Quantico, VA.

Your future duties and responsibilities
Drives bus to transport passengers over specified routes to local or distant points according to time schedule. Regulates heating, lighting, and ventilating systems for passenger comfort. Complies with local traffic regulations. Reports delays or accidents. May inspect bus and check gas, oil, and water before departure. May load or unload baggage in baggage compartment.

When not required to transport passengers, operates various types of Government-furnished motor vehicles to shuttle to, and retrieve from, dispatching, or preventive maintenance services locations within the Washington DC & Northern Virginia metropolitan area, or further. Must have good reading and communications skills; the ability to print clearly; collect mileage data from government vehicles for monthly preventive maintenance, and vehicle usage monitoring. As a fulltime employee, when no other driving or vehicle related activities are required, you may be asked to assist in furniture movement, warehouse inventory or material handling, and event setups.

*Schedules:
* All bus drivers know months in advance, for planning purposes, the weeks that they are scheduled to be the primary driver.
* May still take leave/vacation on weeks that they are scheduled to be primary driver when it is presented with enough advanced notification.
* The primary driver may have scheduled runs occurring on Saturday and or Sunday.
* Bus schedule is published weekly by noon every Thursday, and may be the first notification that a run may occur on Saturday and or Sunday.
* At the time of publication, if there is nothing scheduled on Saturday or Sunday they are not workdays.
* No one is expected to be "On Call".

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Must have a valid State operator's CDL with P Endorsement, and a proven safe driving record as established by the National Driver Register or equivalent check.

General familiarity with *schedules and routes; the ability to pay close attention to detail; and the ability to work well with others. May be designated as essential personnel during inclement weather, and Regionally or Nationally announced Federal Government closings. Prepared to safely make it to work, and drive in inclement weather conditions. Expected to maintain, and respond appropriately to Government provided cellular communication devices, during your work period/schedule. A CONFIDENTIAL, SECRET, or TOP SECRET clearance may be required for the handling of highly sensitive documents. All Government-furnished motor vehicles must be operated in accordance with 41 CFR, Chapter 101, Subpart 101-38.3, Official Use of Government Motor Vehicles
