Back-end developer with team leading aspiration

Position Description
The project is delivering new front-end applications including integration to back-end systems for our customer, big financial company located in Prague, Czech republic.
The integration team delivers a multi-channel platform ensuring all data are available for front-ends with low dependency on the back-end systems. The platform builds on micro-services architecture and asynchronous communication patterns, and is meant to be highly scalable and robust while utilizing open-source technology stack.

Your future duties and responsibilities
You will be working on several big initiatives within the business. This role will require communication and interaction with internal and external clients, project manager and enterprise architecture team. You will also participate on troubleshooting issues and developing new enhancements to achieve targeted results. If you have experience in project management or enterprise architecture and are excited about continuous learning opportunities we want to hear from you. Your responsibilities will include:
• Responsible for deliveries within integration team according to the project plan
• Manage the integration team on daily bases (plan, delegate and control the work of the team)
• Close cooperation with Project Manager and Solution Architect and other Team Leaders
• Develop, implement and test new interfaces for our growing solution
• Support and enhance existing interfaces and services
• Identify and action opportunities for process improvements and optimizations
• Collaborate effectively with various departments, teams and staff across the organization

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Essential Qualifications
• Experience of application integration
• Knowledge of Java / JEE or Spring Framework
• Knowledge of interface communication protocols/formats such as REST/JSON or SOAP/XML
• Knowledge of PL/SQL (preferably Oracle)
• Enthusiasm for the technology and new challenges

It would be an advantage to have
• Experience on the similar position
• Experience with API design and testing
• Financial industry experience
• Work experience in international environment
