In the MINATEC campus for innovation in micro and nanotechnologies the Leti institute is an applied research center in microelectronics, technology information and health.

Closely with hospital universities and institutions of higher education, the Division of applied Technologies for Biology and Health (Leti HEALTH, http://www-leti.cea.fr/en/Discover-Leti/Leti-s-research/Application-fields/Sante) develops new technologies to improve medical diagnosis and treatment of patients. A the interface between academic research and industrial development, Leti HEALTH has laboratory facilities of 320 m², equipped with a 70 m² clean room and chemistry/ biology laboratories (L1, L2 safety levels) and also an international network of partners.

Our research unit from Leti-Health division is looking for post-doctoral position candidates starting in March 2020 for 12 months. The project, named REFINE, is funded by the European commission through the H2020 framework (http://refine-nanomed.com/). The research project deals with the evaluation in biological models of nanomedicinal products, in terms of cellular uptake, internalization and toxicity. This project involves our interdisciplinary group and a strong collaboration with other European partners.

Desired profile

Profil du candidat

The candidate should have obtained a PhD degree in Biology, more especially in Cell Biology. Backgrounds in nanoparticle formulation or nanomedicine will be particularly appreciated. Moreover, ability to collaborate in a highly multidisciplinary environment (biologists, chemists, industrial and clinicians), as well as high commitment and motivation are required.
