Our Global Travel Retail (GTR) business unit is responsible for managing and distributing BAT brands to GTR channels, in particular duty-free airport retailers in Americas, Western Europe, Asia Pacific and EEMEA Regions. The GTR business is a unique channel for true global brand building and has a customer base including more than 300 operations in 120 countries around the world.
GTR is highly competitive, sophisticated and rapidly changing. The trading environment operates world-wide through several defined trade channels and global key accounts.
The SC Execution teams serve over 140 customers under different business models, with complex logistical and supply issues, including multiple re-supply routes (air, sea, rail, road etc.) complex custom and excise procedures, and specific security issues.

 

Key Accountabilities

·  To provide an excellent level of Service to all Global Travel Retail customers in the long term
·  Liaise and cooperate with internal and external stakeholders & offer customer service expertise to all areas of the business
·  Manage day-to-day business within Operational 6 month horizon & support performance improvement through all activities including Customer Order Management
·  Issue Forecast recommendations to the Account Managers / Regions & Customer Service Managers
·  Respond to Order enquiries/Customer Enquiries
·  Review under/over forecast issues and raise to Account Manager and Customer Service Manager for action
·  Validation of  prices & products from Terms of Trade database into SAP
·  Develop and maintain good working relationship and promote further collaboration between partners
·  Understanding customer KPIs and driving performance improvement wherever possible

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

·  Previous experiences in Supply Chain (Logistics/Customer Services)
·  Customer Services Mindset
·  Familiar with exporting and commercial practices
·  Good and confident communication/interpersonal skills are required for dealing with all levels of internal/external customers
·  Good computer knowledge (Excel), Advanced SAP user knowledge
·  Advanced analytical skills and Commercial Skills
·  Knowledge and experience in export documentation
·  Accurate and organised working method
·  Language skills, fluent written and oral English, other languages are an asse
