Your contribution to something big

Major Duties:

·  Simulation Engineer with focus on powertrain simulation to support the development of next-generation technologies.
·  Perform 1D engine simulations to evaluate target engine technologies and identify associated specification requirements for subsystem and component design.
·  Perform vehicle level simulations to evaluate powertrain topologies ranging from convention ICE to hybrid powertrains (HEV to PHEV) to identify associated specification requirements for the e-machine and battery.
·  Perform vehicle level simulations to quantify the drive-cycle benefits of target engine and powertrain technologies.
·  Create reports detailing modeling assumptions and results for internal presentation and customer discussion.

What distinguishes you

Minimum Requirements Include:

·  Master Degree in an Engineering related field.
·  Experiences with 1D engine and vehicle simulations tools and methods.
·  Knowledge of internal combustion and vehicle powertrain modeling principles.
·  Excellent communication and organization skills with a strong attention to details.
·  Able to work in a cross-functional team environment and effectively present the concept.

Desired:

·  Familiar with GT-Suite software for engine and vehicle simulations.
·  Knowledge of engine management system and control methods.
·  Knowledge of transmission systems and control theory.
