We are currently looking to recruit a Bid Manager (m/f) based within our Madrid site in Rail Control Solutions. The role will be responsible with coordinating the bid process for international projects, most of them based in the Americas.

YOUR ROLE:

As a Bid Manager, you will be responsible with coordinating the complete Bid Process (internal and external bid), with the purpose of delivering in time, in quality and with the appropriate internal approvals a winning offer to the final customer.

Starting with the moment the opportunity is handed over by the Sales Manager and all the way through the final bid being submitted to the customer, you will have full responsibility of the bid preparation. You will follow the opportunities as required by Region Americas.

YOUR RESPONSABILITIES:

- Plan and coordinate all tasks related to the assigned Bid Team. Make sure all functions are working consistently integrated
- Coordinate all documents/actions related to internal approvals (Blue Book). Actively participate and coordinate any meeting related
- Submit on time and quality final bid deliverables as per tender specifications
- Manage interfaces related to the final customer. Actively participate in presentations of the offer to the customer
- Manage interfaces with potential partners or designated suppliers.
- Hand over won orders to Project Managers
- Develop Lesson Learned reports in case of lost bid

Qualifications

- Educational background in Engineering, Business or similar
- At least 1 year experience in international bid management; knowledge or experience of railway signalling projects is highly advantageous
- Able to take on responsibility and adapt to frequent changes;
- Very good resource planning abilities
- Resilience and decisiveness; result oriented
- Proactive, problem solver with excellent communication skills
- Able to work efficiently in a team
- At least a basic knowledge of business financials
- Advanced level of Spanish and English are required
