Tool description: Management Accounting Systems:

1. DRACONIS is one of the 3 Management Accounting systems used by CIB (Corporate & Institutional Banking) to calculate the Net Banking Income per metier and per territory on a monthly basis. DRACONIS is also the management tool used by Performance Managers to set up & monitor management allocations & reporting to synthesis systems (PARADIGM & C3).

2. Main end users are Local/Regional Performance Managers and Synthesis Central team (on Corporate Banking activities). DRACONIS is the official system for Corporate Banking management revenues

3. DRACONIS is composed of 2 main tools:

§ The profitability engine (SOCRATE ATLAS2): In charge of calculating the net banking income (and provide the split between the net margin and the funding cost). This engine is part of the Atlas 2 banking platform. Enhancements & fixes have to be deployed in all the platforms (various releases to coordinate).

§ Central Draconis (Local Draconis + Client Synthesis):

- Local Draconis: local/regional Performance management tool to determine revenues & volumes allocation (business, management indicators …) and to feed synthesis /consolidation tools.

- Client Synthesis: Corporate Banking Central Performance Management system to adjust, report and analyse revenues & volumes to business lines and to the Coverage department.

4. DRACONIS is deployed in almost all CIB sites

Main Project description: OFS Migration

o OFS (One Financial System) is the main tool for management accounting used by the group

o Our team is contributing to the migration of many entities across the world. Short and medium term roadmap consist of EMEA CIB, BPSS, Switzerland, UK…entities

o We are leading the management accounting stream aiming at rationalizes and standardizes the management accounting rules, process and systems across the world.

o The migration process is composed by different phases:

o Study Phase: Analysis of current tools, processes, Current Operating Model in order to define the TOM, Target Operating Model.

o Building Phase: Parameterization of OFS tools according to what it has been stablished in target.

o Initialization phase: IAT and technical tests.

o Shadow Production: Test of the figures in OFS vs previous system.

o UAT: User acceptance test. Accompany the user in order to get their validation to the migration

o Training to users

o Change Management: Contribution to the change management produced by the change of systems.

Location: The position will be located in Madrid. The job holder is expected to sometimes travel to Paris and also to other Regions/Countries.

Geographical scope and interactions:

- Performance Managers worldwide, mainly CIB.

- Group IT : ITG, based in Paris with subcontractors in Spain (to be confirmed)

- CIB IT: ITO

- Group Finance: sourcing & project teams

- Owners of client applications in CIB and in other Métiers / Functions

Key responsibilities of the role:

o As business analyst, produce project deliverables to support business requirements.

o Level 2 support to production teams at end users level.

o Perform the maintenance and referential releases.

o Contribute to transversal projects.

Detailed tasks description:

Business analysis tasks:

o Enhancement / project management: Business requirements; pre-study; general & detailed conception; IT build (Business Object reports); tests & central qualification; support to UAT (user acceptance test); training, change management & communication to end users.

o In coordination with MOE/IT teams and end users.

Production support tasks:

o End users: Performance management support (Local, Regional and Central).

o Level 2: support on functional and technical topics through the monthly closing (analysis on profitability calculation; analysis on business line / management indicators determination for Atlas 2 sites; etc.).

Maintenance & referential releases tasks:

o In coordination with MOE/IT team and end users

o Pre-study, general conception, detailed conception, test / qualification & support to UAT

Contribution to transversal projects (Group Finance; Operating Systems, etc) :

o Contribution to project roadmap

o Pre-study & specific analysis on accounting schemes changes

o General & detailed conception to analyze impacts on Draconis

o Qualification & support to UAT

Profile Required

Educational background: Business School, Engineer or Master in Information Technology.

Previous working experience: 2-5 years' experience. Business analyst or performance management position in the Financial Services industry.

Hard skills:

o Knowledge in Management Accounting

o Experience as business analyst on an financial accounting / management accounting / client profitability / credit risk in banking industry would be a plus.

o Good knowledge on relational database & ideally on Business Objects

o Language skills: Fluent in French and English.
